A-182-2 is a simple passive module containing four mechanical switches, each associated with a triplet of sockets:

In the upper position of the switch, the upper socket of the triplet is connected to the middle socket.

In the lower position of the switch, the lower socket of the triplet is connected to the middle socket.

In the middle position of the switch, the jacks are not connected

Each unit can be used to switch between two signals or to turn a signal on / off. In the latter case, the third socket remains unused. The module works purely passive and audio or control signals can be switched.
